About Me

Rosie grew up in Sydney and started taking piano lessons at the age of four and trumpet lessons from the age of seven – “I remember my very first note on it and I was hooked from then on!” She studied at the University of Sydney with James Blunt and John Foster and at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia with David Bilger. She has played with Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, the Macau Orchestra, the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, the Australian Chamber Orchestra and the Malaysian Philharmonic. Rosie joined Orchestra Victoria in 2016. Her favourite composers are Mahler, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, Strauss and Debussy.
